Over the last few months we’ve looked at easily accessible camping grounds. This month, however, we decided to look at something slightly more out of the way.

ASK anyone why they’re leaving the confines of the city for a campsite and the answer will most likely be, “to get away from it all”. Problem is, campsites are usually easy to get to, which means everybody you know will likely also be there.

The White Lady Lodge is named after a cave painting in the nearby Brandberg. The 2 000-year-old rock painting is thought to represent a dancer, dressed up in white, performing in a ritual dance.
