Subframes blasted, modified and painted up.

Mini rear subframes share a life expectancy with small dogs. Some of them make it past 15, but most get a bit creaky at 10. I don’t know exactly when mine was born, but I do remember it had sat outside in my parents’ garden for a few years before going into my previous grey car in 2007. It must have come from one of the £50 scrappers from when I was racing Minis as a teenager. Anyway, I hung on to it when the grey shell was stripped, so this is at least the third Mini it’s been fitted to! It’s always been caked in Dinitrol, and although not used daily, it was for many years, so that has to be a glowing review for the black gooey stuff.
