We Catch Up With Mumbai’s RD350 Club
Who are we?
We are no longer ‘the’ RD club, but yes, we are one of the oldest Yamaha RD350 clubs in India. We are a group of people who own and ride the iconic Yamaha which was launched in India under the Rajdoot marque. Our bikes are not just ‘trophy’ motorcycles, but are ridden daily on the road, on the track and every place an RD can possibly go.
The first get-together of the club members was as far back as 1998, giving birth to the ‘Mumbai Pistons’ which, with changing times, limited itself to an internet forum for discussions and the like. Between 2005 and 2008, the club witnessed a drop in enthusiasm despite the weekly meets in Mumbai.
