THEN 1975 HONDA GOLD WING

The Honda Gold Wing was first showcased at the Cologne Motorcycle Show (now Intermot) in 1974 powered by a 999cc flat-four cylinder motor which was later introduced in the market in 1975.

The Gold Wing was the first liquid-cooled engine to go into production as, until then, all Honda cars and motorcycles were air-cooled. It was also the first to come with a shaft-driven final drive mechanism.
