This month, however, I got the chance to ride a newer version that&#39;s got just 400 odd kms on the odo.First things first, it would appear refinement levels have gone up a bit. But then I also noticed how much the kind of riding makes a difference to how the scooter behaves in the long run. My Ntorq has seen it all; highway, off-road and manic city runs. This newer one hadn&#39;t really been pushed to the limit at all. The throttle response was a lot more subdued; quite unlike the fiesty, ready-for-anything response I&#39;d get from my own long term test scooter.The other thing I noticed were the tyres. My test scooter is still running the Ceat Gripp tyres, while the stock bike comes with more road-biased MRFs. I do recommend the tyre switch. The bike feels nippier and more responsive, save for a slightly higher tyre noise at higher speeds. And with the kind of speeds the Ntorq does, the Ceats do feel slightly grippier. Maybe beyond that the MRFs would be preferred. Also because they&#39;re tubeless and the Ceats aren&#39;t. If you&#39;re looking to get a bit naughty with the Ntorq and explore its sportier side in real world conditions, I&#39;d suggest you make the tyre switch, too.
