Playing Blizzard’s latest slice of multi-player mayhem is a bit like playing Russian Roulette with your spare time. It always starts innocently enough – “I’ll just play a couple of matches,” you say as you select from one of Overwatch’s 21 characters. Then you look at your watch and realise that nine hours have passed and your dinner has charred to a crisp in the oven. It’s a proverbial rabbit hole of a game, and an addictive one at that.
