All rally we’d been carrying six tyres for security – four on the car and two spare – all the other teams had only five. I knew with that extra weight we were never going to be able to do the best time on the last stage – I wanted a steady run just to make sure I gathered a few points. When we set off everything felt really good, no issues, then we got to the final part of the stage.
