Whether they were shot in Singapore, New Zealand or Montenegro, these wedding portraits reflect the tender romance and unique personalities of three stylish couples.
LYN KUA & KEN ZHOU
The concept behind our wedding portraits was inspired by our passion towards our career, fashion, and, of course, each other.
As Ken and I run a tailoring business together, we wanted our pictures to refl ect our style. It was also more meaningful for us to wear the clothes we’ve tailored, to symbolise the brand that we’ve built together.
One of the locations we chose to shoot at was our own store – it is a big milestone for us and we thought it’d be cool to document it.
For our vendors, we worked with fellow local entrepreneurs whom we’ve worked with before, and the shoot turned out to be a breeze. Our photographer really put in the extra effort to get to know us better, and brought out the vibes we were looking for. It’s important to have chemistry with your photographer.
Tips: We believe that wedding portraits should not be restricted to just gowns and suits. Don’t be afraid just because you are not doing something that most couples do!
