Continuing its multicity endeavour, the 8th Smart Office India Summit 2022 held yet another successful forum in Bengaluru last month. Instrumental in unifying experts from multiple verticals, the Summit, co-created with Siemens, Commscope, 75F, & Crestron, aimed to establish a platform that addresses various modern office challenges and solutions. Conceptualised to inspire, engage, ideate, and share insights on progressive office space design, the congregation was attended by experts from various fields such as architecture, design, facilities management, project management, urban planning, environmental consultants, etc.
The forum was set in motion by a stellar keynote address delivered by Renuka Rajagopal, Senior Director - Workplace, VMWare. She chose one of the most critical topics in the industry to touch base upon, titled "Leadership & Beyond: Leveraging learning, flexibility and Optimism” her keynote address delved into the role of a facility manager going beyond the basic mandated tasks. She spoke about how leaders in the field can play a crucial role in the upliftment of communities, instil inclusivity, and mould the morale of their teams and all the inhabitants of a workspace facility.
This was then followed by an industry address delivered by Amal Jaiswal, Head – Digital Enterprise Business, Siemens India. Engaged with a global entity that works closely with the industry, Jaiswal provided a comprehensive insight into the innovations and solutions driving the field of technology in design today. The company has been at the forefront of the digital revolution. He shed light on some of the company's state of-the-art solutions to bolster smart office infrastructure.
