Building the natural & organic food market in India
Khanal Food started in 2015 with a sole mission to bring the goodness of nature into the lives of people. Bhupendra Khanal, a serial entrepreneur, CEO and founder of Khanal Foods, had a vision to deliver the goodness of natural products derived from the Himalayan region into the hands of the people and their pets across the globe. He believed that there is no bigger satisfaction than feeding people and their pets and seeing them happy.

Bhupendra was born and brought up in Nepal and had a strong inclination towards products that were naturally sourced in and around the region. He had been accustomed to good and natural products and when he moved to Bangalore, he couldn’t help but notice that naturally sourced products were not easily available in the city’s stores. He was quick to realize the gap in the market and decided to use this opportunity to make them available to the public and capitalize on the market. His desire was to share his love for all-natural products with the world and thus he started his company in early 2018. In spite of hailing from a completely different industry sector, he was successful in implementing his vision to bring about a change for the better in the Health Food Category which enabled him to experience the most defining moment of his career. Khanal Foods is now a thriving and successful parent company of Himalayas Natives and Dogsee.
