Nearly USD 1 Bn of funding into startups in India in 2021 has been through Angel Investors. Raising early-stage investment is crucial for aspiring entrepreneurs as the majority of the startups are turned down by the traditional investors. Angel investors bridge this very vital gap and help startups in two ways – funding and mentoring. With an exponential rise in new startups being incubated this need for angel investing is increasing and presents a huge opportunity for individual investors.
