With big expansion plans, Cachet Pharmaceuticals is set to cash in on favourable factors sweeping across the Indian drug industry.
The past two years have been quite rewarding for Cachet Pharmaceuticals. In June this year, the company that manufactures a wide range of formulations and neutraceuticals bagged the prestigious European Award for Best Practices 2016 under the Gold Category.
Cachet Pharmaceuticals, based out of Mumbai, was honoured with the award in recognition of its outstanding quality management strategies. The drug company was among a very small and select section of award-winning entities across the globe to shine at the glittering European Award for Best Practices Convention 2016 held in the Belgian capital of Brussels. Last year too, the over Rs 350-crore company received yet another global award in Paris, the International Star for Leadership in Quality Award, under the Gold Category for its leadership in excellence and quality.
True to its name Cachet, the medicine manufacturer has made quality its characteristic feature or bench- mark, earning it a reputation of a quality-focused company. "We have always ensured that all our systems and processes remain in compliance with the latest quality standards present across international markets," emphasises Cachet Pharmaceuticals Managing Director Satish Kumar Singh. Over the past few decades, the dynamic Cachet chief has transformed the drug-maker into one of the country's fast-growing, mid-sized, pharmaceutical companies.
Cachet's growth has been propelled by its wide and varied product portfolio, including anti-bacterial, pain management, gastroenterological, anti-malarial and anti-arthritis drugs as well as cough and cold preparations and neutraceutials. Stress on quality and a strong marketing outreach have led to many of its brands ranking among the country's top-10 brands in their respective therapeutic segments.
