When a LIC agent (who was having a side business of micro-financing) decided to venture into a new zone and took a daring step to start lingerie distribution business in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Ganapati Enterprises was born. Such is the unique story of Arun Dubey and his distribution business which was set up in 2003 in Mansarovar area of Jaipur.
Since the year of its establishment, Ganpati Enterprises is moving towards organic growth at a fast pace. Having a warehouse of 3000 sq ft and a team of dedicated and hardworking individuals, the company is well-equipped to manage its distribution business and take it to the heights of success.
THE INCEPTION STORY
Ganpati Enterprises started its operation from a 650 sq ft warehouse and with the VIP brand but now it has nearly 12 brands in its kitty and the size of the warehouse has also increased drastically. Talking about his journey into the business, Arun notes, “I was a LIC agent and at the same time, had a small firm of my own through which I was into micro-financing business. One of my clients who was also my friend was working with the VIP brand. He suggested that why don’t I take up the agency of VIP brand and start distribution business as arranging finance was not an issue for me. I took his advice seriously and with an initial investment of Rs 10 lakhs, I started this business. Since then, I have not looked back.”
Today, the company distributes complete range of products of brands like Amante, Lovable, Stafy, Black Panther, VIP, Lime, Sona, Alisha, Coccy SG and few others and has a network of nearly 1000 retailers in its kitty. Typically, the store distributes lingerie, nightwear and swimwear brands. The store’s distribution network is spread over whole of Rajasthan barring merely two cities of the state i.e., Bharatpur and Dhaulpur.
