WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE SLEEPWEAR/ LOUNGEWEAR MARKET IS TACKLING RIGHT NOW?
Challenges are like a part and parcel of a business. We believe that the fruits of success taste better when you understand and handle challenges. There are new challenges day-in and day-out. We feel that staying relevant in the market is the biggest challenge right now.
The trends are changing every minute, every hour and we see something new in the market every day. But given the reservations and tastes of Indian customers, these trends must be optimized to suit Indian markets. On the other hand, there is the growing demand for designer nightwear. It gets difficult to handle the demand while staying relevant.
WHAT IS THE CURRENT POPULAR TREND DO YOU THINK WILL STAY IN THE COMING YEARS?
We have seen lace and embroidery on dresses, blouses, denim, bags and even chokers– so it is absolutely no surprise that sleepwear designers are picked up on these trend! This has been on the top for about two years and it is also set to dominate the year ahead. Trailing behind it is the floral trend which will surely sustain the summer.

Matching family pajamas is one idea that has received backlash. Though some people consider it cute, the trend remains unappreciated and we don’t think it will gain popularity in the future.
