The preeminent Pritzker Prize winner Renzo Piano weaves his magic on the One Barangaroo strip to conceive One Sydney Harbour residential project. He snagged this accolade in 1998 for his work at Kansai International Airport in Japan, not forgetting, he was the architect behind The Shard in London.
For One Sydney Harbour, he was fascinated by the glistening harbour and how he could create a building that could project the sun rays reflecting on the waves. The end result is an elegant and sophisticated structure that shimmers and sparkles just like waves rippling on the iconic Sydney Harbour. He also made sure that every unit would afford enviable vistas to allow its residents to appreciate the views of the harbour. The complementing building appears like a shimmery crystal when it catches the light from the harbour, blending with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
