Dr Monga opticians in Delhi seemed to have taken the experience of an optical store to a new level by creating a warm space that can double up your fun when shopping for a pair of spectacles. VM&RD looks through the lens to see how this charming store design works for the brand.

Optical Delight

Dr Monga Opticians started their journey long back when specs were sold and bought over the counters against doctor’s prescription. Cut to today’s consumers’ for whom spectacles are an accessory to rise the spunk factor. When Dr Monga Opticians wanted to open their store at Delhi’s neighbourhood style market Rajouri Garden, they adopted what is hot in retail design trend these days – the vintage theme.

Shailender Monga, Director, Dr Monga Opticians, explained, “What we did not want the store to look like was the traditional optics store. We wanted to create a space that welcomes customers with earthy and friendly environment.”
