Cheryl Faces Up To Her Future As A Single Mum

She’s kept her 18-month-old son Bear out of the spotlight since he was born, but last week Cheryl was snapped with her toddler for the first time in public as she arrived at best friend Kimberley Walsh’s son’s birthday party.

And sources say since her split from Liam Payne in July, friends fear the star, 35, is feeling lonely as the reality of life as a single mum sinks in.

A pal reveals, “Cheryl is a really hands-on mum and motherhood has been everything she’d hoped for. But friends know the collapse of her relationship was painful and she never expected to end up as a single parent. They wouldn’t be surprised if there were times when she felt lonely and sad that things hadn’t worked out the way she planned. Especially when she spends time with her mum friends who are in relationships.”

Insiders say Cheryl has been leaning on best pal and former bandmate Kimberley, 36 – who has sons Bobby, four, and Cole, one, with husband Justin Scott – in the wake of her split.

STRONG BOND

Kimberley recently opened up to Closer about how motherhood had helped her and Cheryl bond further – insisting, “Our friendship became even stronger when she had Bear, because we were both going through the same thing.”
