The Apprentice and CBB star Jessica Cunningham tells Closer about her fears around intimacy after childbirth and why the tragedies in her life have made her stronger
She only gave birth to her fourth child last month – a boy called Digby – with her boyfriend Alex Daw, and already Jessica Cunningham is planning baby number five. Before then, though, she’ll have to overcome a big hurdle: her fear of having sex again.
Jess, 31, tells Closer, “We want to have another baby for sure. Just days after having Digby, Alex was talking about when we were having our next. It’s his first child and my fourth, and he wants another one, so we’ll definitely have one more.
“I’m nervous about trying [to have sex] again, though! I’m waiting for everything to settle down there. We’re very touchy-feely, but we haven’t had sex yet. I think I’m going to need to get really drunk to do it again! I’ve got to keep practising the pelvic floor exercises!”
While Jess – who rose to fame on The Apprentice in 2016 and starred in Celebrity Big Brother the following year – is currently basking in the bliss of her new baby, the 31-year-old mum has had a difficult year.
FAMILY TRAGEDY
Last August, her former partner, Alistair Eccles – the father of her three daughters, Poppy, six, Olive, five, and Hattie, three – took his own life, aged just 35.
