They have been pictured on numerous occasions looking friendly as a foursome, but last week the royal family was rocked by allegations of a simmering feud between Princes William and Harry and their wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
It was revealed that Harry and Meghan were set to move out of their two-bedroom home at Kensington Palace – where Kate and William live with their three children – and into 10-bedroom Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle, ahead of the birth of their first baby.
Royal insiders claimed the move was due to tension between the couples – insisting the brothers no longer relied on each other like they used to, and that Kate and Meghan are “different people” who “don’t really get on.”
Days later, it was claimed that Meghan had left Kate in tears during a “stressful” fitting for daughter Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress ahead of her May wedding to Harry. The allegations came just months after royal insiders revealed the Queen had refused Meghan her first choice of tiara for the big day, and “had words” with Harry over his “difficult” bride.
