Parineeti Chopra Wants More And More From Life, Love And Films. Anuradha Choudhary Gives Her Dreams A Thumbs Up

Anuradha Choudhary
No Holds Barred
She looks luminous. This after a day full of press interviews and an ad shoot. Of course, the five-day break in Maldives has put the sun back on her face. She spent those five days doing things she loves, swimming, diving, simply enjoying the good life. At The Residence Maldives where we shot her, life is serene. And she has learnt to steer clear of stress. Clearly Parineeti Chopra knows how to transcend the myopic world of showbiz and expand her personal interests. This learning that one must balance one’s life has been the most important one in the past few years.

At 21, she was touted as the Next Best Thing. And for quite a while, the sales pitch had the benefit of being true. All at once she was the cupcake of the season. Then the unthinkable happened. An actor’s worst nightmare – her movies started tanking. Her body weight became an issue. But just when naysayers were writing her professional obituary, she bounced back.

The extra kilos were gone and she was ready for her long shot. That she could galvanise the screen was never in doubt. She proved her mettle with the super hit Golmaal Again. Right now, she has her plate full with Vipul Shah’s Namaste England, Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Anurag Singh’s Kesari and Prashant Singh’s Jabariya Jodi. It’s a good time to be Parineeti Chopra.

If you expect her to be defensive or evasive about her low phase, you have a think coming. She’s as candid about her misfires as she’s about her hits. All that’s in the past though. The actress is raring to go with her current movies. She’s back. On the personal front, love’s knocking at her door. But she refuses to talk about it just yet. She opens up though on her cousin Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement. Read on:
