ALEX TREBEK TOOK GRUDGE TO GRAVE!

BELOVED Jeopardy host Alex Trebek went to his grave harboring a bitter grudge against talk star and game show rival Regis Philbin, pals dish.

Alex, 80, who bravely lost his two-year battle with pancreatic cancer on Nov. 8, and Regis began their feud back in 2000 when the Jeopardy! star mocked Philbin’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Trash-talking Trebek slammed Millionaire as a game show for dummies.

“You have to wonder about some of the contestants on that program,” said Alex, who had a degree in philosophy. “Jeopardy’s money is nowhere comparable, but so what?

“People on our program aren’t there for the money. They’re there to show off their intellectual prowess.”
