Daughters demand new investigation into Harlem horror

MALCOLM X’s daughters claim the controversial Black activist and Muslim leader was murdered in a conspiracy cooked up by New York police and the FBI — and have released a newly discovered letter they believe exposes the plot!

On the 56th anniversary of their 39-year-old father’s assassination in Harlem’s Audubon Ballroom, three of his daughters, Qubiliah, Ilyasah and Gamilah Shabazz, revealed the document while demanding lawmen reopen the probe into Malcolm X’s death, which was pinned on rivals from the Nation of Islam, Talmadge X Hayer, Norman 3X Butler and Thomas 15X Johnson. All three were convicted of murder and received life sentences. However, Butler, who was released in 1985, maintains his innocence as did Johnson, who is now dead. Hayer was paroled in 2010.
