JOHN LENNON’S killer, Mark David Chapman, confesses he shot the former Beatle to see his name in headlines!
“I assassinated him because he was very, very, very famous and that’s the only reason and I was very, very, very, very much seeking self-glory. Very selfish,” Chapman, 65, says in a recently released transcript of his August parole hearing.
Chapman gunned down the Imagine singer outside his Manhattan apartment building on Dec. 8, 1980.
