Ant & His PA Have Been Close For Years

You can’t help but feel for Lisa Armstrong. Not only is she dealing with the very public breakdown of her 11-year marriage to Ant McPartlin, last week she was dealt another huge blow when it emerged her estranged husband was seeing his PA Anne-Marie Corbett – who was one of Lisa’s close friends. Understandably, the Strictly make-up artist was furious, revealing on Twitter that she had only found out about the relationship after the news broke in a Sunday newspaper, before hinting about how betrayed she felt by both of them. When a follower asked if she had been warned by Ant before the story appeared in the media, she replied, “Nope. Just how you guys did.” She then received a tweet of support from reality star Nicola McLean, and replied, “Thanks babe and to think she was MY friend!! Xx.” Another follower wrote, “So much for the girl code,” to which Lisa answered, “Exactly!”

It has been claimed that Ant and Anne-Marie – who split from her husband and the father of her two children in October – have been together for a few months, after she helped support him following his most recent stint in rehab. The TV presenter sought treatment in March after his arrest for drink-driving when he crashed into another car. But heat can reveal the pair have been looking very close for the past couple of years, and pictures of them back in 2016 and 2017 show them getting on very well. Although there is nothing to suggest they were more than just friends before Ant and Lisa’s split, we’re told Lisa is refusing to go down without a fight.
