Cheryl: ‘I can't take much more of this'

It’s not exactly a revelation to say 2018 was a year of ups and (many) downs for Cheryl. But, as the singer prepares for her major TV comeback – judging new talent show The Greatest Dancer – insiders say the single mum is worrying over what the next 12 months might bring. In fact, she’s so nervous about the possibility of yet another flop, she’s considering giving up her life here altogether and starting afresh abroad.

“Cheryl has had enough of all the hate directed at her in the last year,” says an insider close to the star. “She feels as though she can’t catch a break and everyone is out to get her. She’s been doing her best to shake off the negativity, but it’s wearing thin and there’s only so much she can realistically take. If this new show fails, Cheryl knows she’ll be blamed, and she’s seriously considering quitting the UK for good.”
