SPORTING A DAZZLING NEW AVATAR, THE DABANGG ACTRESS JOINS HELLO! ON THE DECKS OF A LUXURY CRUISE LINER FOR A VOYAGE TO REMEMBER HONOURING FAMILY, TRADITION AND LOVE
October heat. Mumbaiikars know it well. The intense rays can deter the most steadfast amongst us. But not the gritty Ms Sinha, displaying the same fiery spirit showcased by her father, actor Shatrughan Sinha in his signature roles. She remains an oasis of calm under the afternoon sun on the bright October’s day of HELLO!’s cover shoot. She’s a glittering vision draped in bespoke couture creations by FALGUNI SHANE PEACOCK against a backdrop of azure waters upon the bow of the world class vessel. Team HELLO! is joined by ace photographer, Colston Julian D’souza – a close friend and collaborator of the talented artiste – as he captains today’s fashion-upon-the-seas adventure. “I first met Sona (as she is lovingly referred to by family, friends and fans) in 2003 when she was studying fashion at the SNDT Women’s University. We always stay in touch despite our busy work schedules and when we meet – it’s as though we have never been apart. She’s a wonderful person to travel with – we go diving together and she is tremendous fun! She is truly like family to me – a genuine friend who has stood by my side during my worst times and I know I can count on her no matter what.” Offering further insight into their relationship he shares, “I love that she is such a grounded person, she has not changed an iota since she became an actress – she is still warm-hearted and kind – and a bully who fights with me!” (laughs) Of course, with such a steeped history, the energy on the set is both comfortable yet electric. “It’s wonderful to shoot for HELLO! with her – once again, after a long gap – on such an experiential location on the coastal sea route,” Colston adds.
