Lisa Riley reveals why she’s returned to Emmerdale and her secrets of a healthy lifestyle

Over the years, Lisa Riley has added a lot of strings to her bow – from actress to author – to most recently, Loose Women panellist.

So it’s not really a surprise when we meet the 42-year-old that she admits, ‘I’ve no idea how I fit it all in!’

And with Lisa set to make her return to ITV soap Emmerdale as Mandy Dingle after a staggering 17 years away, it looks as though the Strictly star’s schedule is about to get a lot busier.

However, when we catch up with the actress, her broad smile proves she’s happier than ever. Here, she talks marriage, weight loss and whether or not she’ll also be making a welcome return to Loose Women…

Hi, Lisa! What made you return to Emmerdale after so many years away?

I’m the type of person who must have an answer, I can’t leave anything open-ended. I’ve done so much, which has been great – and 17 years is such a long time – but I’m interested to see where Mandy’s been and what exactly she’s been up to.
