The couple open up about their huge family plans

Speidi Spill - Twins Are On The Way

It’s obvious that even eight years after The Hills ended (sob!), breakout star Spencer Pratt is still one busy guy. When NW manages to catch him on the phone for a chat, he’s just finished the grocery run and is busy tending to his six-month-old son Gunner while feeding his famous hummingbirds.

But the reality star – who just won Snapchatter of the Year at the Shorty Awards in New York, FYI, and is championing a successful podcast called Make Speidi Famous Again – is about to have even more on his plate as he reveals The Hills reboot is on a roll (hurrah!). Oh, and that he and his “angel wife” Heidi, 31, are preparing to welcome twins! Whaaat?!

“There’s definitely lots of projects in the works,” says Spencer, 34.

Here, he and Heidi spill their baby plans, bringing The Hills back and how they’re going to make Gunner a star – with a little help from Kris Jenner, of course!

You’ve taken to fatherhood so well, Spence. Are you guys ready for baby number two yet?

Spencer: I thought Heidi was for a second there – she thought she was pregnant a couple of times because of irregularities with her period and she started having anxiety attacks. She doesn’t have a nanny and her mum lives in a different state, so she’s got a lot on her hands. Definitely we’re going to have more kids, but I think we need at least a year to get control of the situation.

How many kids do you want?

S: Heidi wanted 10, then it went to five, now it’s down to like two or three. I think we’re a little more realistic now we’ve seen what it’s all about. We’re going to do it though! We’re going to have twins next so that’s scary – the idea of Heidi having to breastfeed two kids at once.
