Killer virus variants threaten new lockdowns & economic collapse

AMERICA is in crisis as the government desperately tries to cover up its bungled handling of the COVID-19 pandemic while the deadly disease rampages across the nation, stunned sources told The National ENQUIRER!

New strains of the killer virus threaten the livelihood of every citizen as the super contagious Delta variant — and other Doomsday mutations — sends infection rates soaring, affecting even those who have been fully vaccinated.

With COVID protection rules varying from state to state, bureaucrats and politicians continue to contradict each other even while cities reopen in a desperate bid to stimulate their economies, analysts said.

But counties in Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, and Louisiana reported severe shortages of ICU beds as more people fell ill with the Delta strain, which is as infectious as chicken pox.

“It is becoming clear that this is a very dangerous, way more dangerous virus than the original one,” said Dr. Ricardo Franco, an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

According to scientists, the rate of COVID-19 infections is accelerating faster than last year’s spring and summer waves — threatening to push the country into new lockdowns that could lead to an economic collapse!
