Chris Hughes is grinning from ear to ear when we catch up for a chat – and it’s clear that his girlfriend Annabel Dimmock is the reason for the huge smile on his face.
“Our relationship is so good. We’re like two peas in a pod,” the smitten former Love Island star tells new when we quiz him on his romance. “It’s the best match I could have ever hoped for.”
Chris began dating pro golfer Annabel, 25, in August. He says they “have so much in common” and she’s “electrifying”. Aw!
Annabel is his first public relationship since he split from Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, 30, in April last year. Chris previously insisted that he and the singer have remained on good terms – and he has even complimented her on her new solo career.
Here, Chris, 28, opens up about life after Love Island and why we won’t see him following in the footsteps of pal Kem Cetinay on Dancing On Ice...
Hi, Chris! You seem extremely loved-up with Annabel. How are things going?
It’s going great. We’ve been on some nice autumn walks – it’s my favourite season. We were actually speaking about our relationship recently. The day we met in the flesh, I filmed it on a vlog for YouTube. It’s weird that you can look back at the conversations we had the first time we met. Nobody really has that. You don’t always remember the first time you met someone, so it’s nice.
