He has a reputation for being a ladies’ man and when we chat to Pete Wicks, we can see why. As we chat to him on the phone, he’s full of charm – and don’t even mention those piercing blue eyes!
The TOWIE star lives in his four-bedroom Essex home with his beloved dogs Eric and Peggy who he reveals have been his “saving grace” during the past few months. “I’m a bit of a lone wolf,” he says. “I don’t really like a lot of people!”
Pete’s been single since splitting from Georgina Mullins 14 months ago and despite the fact that he’s rumoured to be returning to Celebs Go Dating again, he says he’s in no rush to meet anyone.
“I’m getting a bit older and I think when you get past a certain age there’s a lot of pressure on people,” Pete tells us. “But there’s no set time that you should and shouldn’t be doing things.”
Pete also dated former TOWIE co-stars Megan McKenna and Shelby Tribble, who’s having a baby with Sam Mucklow, but, for now, he’s focusing on work – and is in the new series of Celebrity MasterChef.
Here, the 31-year-old talks to us about his culinary skills, what he’s looking for in a woman and why he wouldn’t take advice from his CDG buddy Sam Thompson…
Thanks for letting us peek into your home, Pete! How long have you lived here?
