You can expect to see a lot more of Joanna Page on screen soon. Not only will she be on telly as one half of Shop Well For Less?’s new presenting duo, alongside Melanie Sykes, but later this year she’ll pair up with Dermot O’Leary for a pet talent show on ITV.
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old has something else to look forward to – earlier this month she revealed that baby number four is on the way.
The Welsh actress announced the news to her fans on Twitter. She posted a photo of herself beaming with her growing baby bump visible beneath her white summer dress, and wrote, “Well this is a surprise! Baby number 4 on the way! It’s going to be a busy Christmas!”.
Joanna is married to fellow actor James Thornton, who played farmer John Barton in Emmerdale. The couple have three other children – Eva, eight, Kit, six, and Noah, four.
It’s an exciting time for Joanna, who first became a fixture on our TV screens after landing a leading role as Stacey Shipman in Gavin & Stacey.
When the series ended in 2010, no one expected it to make a surprise comeback in 2019 with a one-off special, which ended with a cliffhanger –Nessa proposing to Smithy.
