NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THIS BUT I’M VERY GOOD AT heavy metal drumming. I was in a band in school. A music teacher showed me the music room and I saw the drum set and gravitated towards it.
MY BEST FRIEND WAS my amazing 16-year-old dog named Sweeney. He passed away a few months ago. As any dog owner knows, the bond, especially when you’ve toured around the country and shared every vocal booth together, is very special.
MY NICKNAME IS Grobes. Sarah Silverman started calling me it and then it shifted into Golden Grobes, and all these other weird ways of saying Grobes.
