Emma Willis is back! The host of The Circle is returning to our screens alongside comedian Tom Allen to present celebrity cooking bonanza Cooking With The Stars. Featuring a stellar line-up, including the likes of Shirley Ballas, Denise Van Outen and Harry Judd, it promises to be a food fight worth watching.
“In a nutshell, it’s a cooking competition where eight celebrities are paired with and mentored by phenomenal chefs. Each week the celebrities are challenged with a different cuisine and compete against each other to win our golden frying pan!” says Emma. Sounds like a recipe for some entertaining TV!
When she’s not presenting, Emma is an all-out family girl. She lives in her stunning home in Hertfordshire with hubby Matt and their three kids, Isabelle, 12, Ace, nine, and Trixie, five.
The 45-year-old explains that she and Matt split the kitchen duties in the Willis household. But, when she reveals her guilty pleasures (a host of scrumptious sounding carby delights), we think she should definitely be the head chef.
Here, Emma tells us more about the upcoming series and her foodie favourites. She also shares her cooking tips...
Hi, Emma! You’ve been working on Cooking With The Stars recently, did you pick up any tips from the show?
I found out that I’ve been doing a lot wrong over the years. Like, “What do you mean you don’t make carbonara with cream?!” I’m one of those people who tend to add a bit of this and a bit of that, but when I watched the professionals I realised I’m overdoing everything. They say less is more and they’re right.
You’ve got a bunch of people coming round for dinner. What’s on the menu?
