Even though we’re speaking over the phone for our catch-up with Camilla Thurlow, we can practically feel her excitement. The 32-year-old says she can’t wait to welcome her second child with husband Jamie Jewitt, which is due in less than two months.
This pregnancy has been very different for former Love Island finalists Camilla and Jamie, 31, who welcomed daughter Nell in October 2020 during the pandemic.
“I’m definitely a bit more on the go this time,” Camilla tells new. “And I have a toddler to run after.”
When we ask is if her one-year-old is excited about the impending arrival, she says, “Nell will be the most amazing big sister.”
Following our chat, Camilla took to social media to share some hilarious photos of herself with the tot, describing their playdate as “one high energy toddler vs one low energy pregnant mum”.
But despite having her hands full, the bomb disposal expert is still determined to do her bit for good causes, and she has been looking to reduce the amount of plastic her family uses.
Here, Camilla tells us how she’s helping the nation become more sustainable and reveals the secret behind her long-lasting relationship with Jamie...
Hi Camilla! How is your pregnancy going?
Good! There’s a difference between this and my first pregnancy – for the majority of the first pregnancy we were in lockdown, so I’m definitely a bit more on the go this time and I have a toddler to run after.
