They’ve been together for almost five years and celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary in September. But as we catch up with former Love Island stars Olivia and Alex Bowen, it’s obvious they’re still as loved-up as ever.
Alex says they keep the spark alive by being 50/50 in their relationship.
And Olivia agrees it’s important to be equal but admits she likes to take the reins when it comes to planning. So for Valentine’s Day this year, she’s treating her fella to a special surprise.
“I believe you shouldn’t just let the man do it, it should be up to both of you,” she says. Ooh!
They also reveal that while they often speak about starting a family, they’re in no rush. Olivia says kids are “definitely on the cards” but they’re still enjoying each other’s company for now.
Here, Alex, 29, and Olivia, 27, open up to new about wanting twins, romantic gestures and annoying habits…
Hi, guys! What have you got planned for Valentine’s Day?
Olivia: It sucks being in lockdown but in some ways it’s nice because it means you’ve got to use your brain a bit more on what to do. I actually haven’t told Alex yet but I’ve got something planned. Normally we take it in turns, so I plan it one year and he does it the other. We’re very equal in the relationship.
Alex: I can sit back and chill!
