'Tasha isn't Andrew's type - I hope his intentions are pure'

Love Island star Andrew Le Page was a busy man before entering the villa, as his former love interest tells us

Whether it’s the sudden arrival of a bombshell or a shock dumping, Love Island is never short of drama. But last week, things turned juicy off air when we spotted that Andrew Le Page’s former fling, Holly Wilson, had made a viral TikTok video about their brief romance.

She shared messages from the 27-year-old Dubai-based estate agent which suggested he was keen on meeting up with her – shortly before he turned up in the Love Island villa.

Now, 28-year-old Holly, from Southampton, tells new exactly what went down, including how the pair had been speaking for “a couple of months” after getting to know each other via Instagram. “He mentioned coming to London to meet me and we were trying to get that set up,” she says.

But while Holly assures us there’s no bad blood between them, she did reveal that his villa partner Tasha Ghouri, 23, “doesn’t seem like his usual type”.

Hi, Holly! What went on between you and Andrew?

I was speaking to him for a couple of months. It all started on Instagram. I came across his profile and I gave him a cheeky little follow and then he followed me back. He would react to a lot of my Instagram Stories with love heart eye emojis and flame emojis and then I did the same back. He was the first to actually message. He slid into the DMs, as they say. He said something like, “Here she is!”
