Striking a pose in her underwear, India Reynolds certainly projects confidence. The 29-year-old model has been in the business for more than 10 years – long before her stint on Love Island last summer – and has teamed up with lingerie brand Pour Moi to launch her own 17-piece collection.
“They were one of the first clients I worked with that catered for women of all shapes and sizes and embraced curves,” she says.
After years spent comparing herself to other models, India says she is now comfortable in her own skin. “It’s important to just be happy and be confident in yourself,” she tells us. “If you feel good mentally, you feel confident inside and it’s going to show.”
The star split up with her Love Island boyfriend Ovie Soko last October and she is tight-lipped when it comes to her current relationship status. However, India does reveal she doesn’t have a type and is looking for someone to make her laugh. Aren’t we all?!
Here, we chat to India about embracing her curves, her perfect date night and why she no longer talks to her ex, Ovie…
Hi India. How body confident are you?
I’m really body confident now, but when I was younger, not so much. I’ve modelled for over 10 years and it’s changed so much from when I first started off, as the models were really different to now. It’s definitely given me more confidence in just being myself, rather than trying to look like someone at the casting next to you.
What’s your favourite part of your body?
