When Paige Turley and Finley Tapp met in the Love Island villa in South Africa back in January, they never could’ve predicted that they’d be about to spend their first Christmas together in their Manchester flat.
“It’s crazy to think we didn’t know each other last year,” says Finn – who, along with Paige, is donning a festive jumper to support this year’s Action For Children’s Secret Santa campaign.
The couple moved in together just six months after leaving the villa and since then things have only gone from strength to strength, so much so that talk has even turned to what Finn will be wearing on their wedding day!
“I’m going to wear a kilt to respect my in-laws and to explore Paige’s Scottish culture,” 21-year-old Finn tells new. “I think he’ll look very handsome in a kilt,” adds Paige, 23.
Here, the loved-up pair tell us about their Christmas plans and Finn reveals why popping the question has been on his mind…
Hi guys! How are you finding living together?
Finn: [To Paige] It’s going good, isn’t it?
Paige: Yeah, we’ve got into a nice routine and we’ve sussed each other out. This year we’ve spent so much time building the foundations of our relationship.
Finn: We have one rule that we live by. It’s that the last one out of bed has to make it. But Paige always sets her alarm five minutes before mine!
Cheeky! Have you discovered any bad habits about each other yet?
Finn: Paige is almost faultless. The only thing I’d say about Paige is she’s a clean freak!
