Not many couples have made it through one series of TOWIE together, let alone 12. But Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallett have proven to be something of a power couple, and this November they will be celebrating six years together.
Their relationship was born on the show when Tommy, 28, asked Georgia, 29, to be his girlfriend using pumpkins (cute!) and the couple moved in together 18 months later. But they’re in no hurry to walk down the aisle.
“I’ve never been that girl who dreams of trying on wedding dresses,” Georgia tells us. “To me, that’s annoying.”
“She’d rather go to the pound shop,” Tommy chimes in.
The pair are open to having kids in the future, but for the moment they’re happy just being parents to their Pomeranian, Monkey, who’s also a TOWIE regular.
“He’s our child,” Georgia says. “Monkey plays a big part in the show. He’s always in it. You can’t get him off the camera!”
Here, we chat to the lovebirds about what makes their relationship work, their favourite TOWIE moments and why babies might come before marriage…
How are you feeling about the great TOWIE return?
Georgia: It’s so nice to be working again. We haven’t filmed since last year. It feels like forever ago.
Tommy: I like that we have to socially distance, so I don’t have to see people we don’t really speak to. It’s less of a chore!
