‘What scares me the most? Postpartum depression'

Pregnant Rihanna opens up about her fears as she prepares to welcome her first child with A$AP Rocky

She might appear to be oozing confidence as she shows off her growing baby bump, but Rihanna has admitted she's m secretly frightened about what the next chapter could bring.

The singer, 34, announced she was expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky back in January, and she's believed to be due this spring. But as her due date looms, Rihanna has opened up about what she fears most about motherhood.

"Postpartum depression," she told Vogue magazine when asked what frightens her, before adding, "Will I feel out of control emotionally? Those are the stories I hear from other women that scare me."

However, for now Rihanna is embracing the journey, although there are times she still finds it hard to believe that she's pregnant.

"As much as it's happening, it's also not happening," she said. "Sometimes I'll walk past my reflection and be like, 'Oh S**t!"
