When it comes to TV double acts, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are right up there with the best of them. And for the next few months the popular duo are more in demand than ever. As well as being busy with their day jobs on This Morning, Holly, 40, and Phil, 59, are back fronting the latest series of ITV hit Dancing On Ice.
While some colleagues might get fed up with seeing each other day in, day out, Holly and Phil don't have that problem. "The lovely thing is you get to spend even more time with your best mate," Phil says. And mum-of-three Holly adds, "There's such a shorthand between us. There's a real ease when we work together."
Here, the pair reveal which stars they'd like to see on the ice in future and why this series is the most fiercely contested yet...
Hi, Holly and Phil. You're hosting Dancing On Ice and This Morning together at the moment, so you rarely have a day apart...
Holly: That's what is really nice, actually. There's such a shorthand between us. There's a real ease when we work together. It's not like you're going in and going, "Oh we just need to find our feet, or find our rhythm." That's an absolute given. And it's nice to be doing something a bit different but still together.
