Former Made In Chelsea star Oliver Proudlock and model Emma Louise Connolly delighted fans when they revealed they had secretly wed on 15 December. It was their fourth attempt at tying the knot due to Covid cancellations.
The couple – who have been engaged since 2018 – reorganised their nuptials in just 24 hours after rumours started swirling on the news that London would be entering Tier 4 restrictions.
They wed in an intimate ceremony at St Alban’s Church in Fulham with just 15 guests. The couple said their vows in front of Reverend Pat Allerton, aka the real hot priest, and photographer Adam Fussell quickly cancelled a job to provide the couple with stunning images of their special day.
Wildabout Flowers arrived at the church at 6am to create a picture-perfect winter wonderland in just two hours. Florist Leanne and her team lined the aisle with candles in glass hurricane jars, while Christmas trees flanked the alter creating a romantic, festive vibe. Singer Joe Baxter performed on the piano and guitar for the pair’s beautifully intimate ceremony.
After signing the register, they enjoyed an impromptu first dance to Frank Ocean’s Godspeed. Emma-Lou gushed, “Ollie twirled me round, it felt like I was floating above this insane set-up. I hadn’t realised how much emotion of the past year I had been carrying.”
The beautiful couple posed at the altar for a dramatic Hollywood kiss, with Proudlock practically sweeping Emma-Lou off her feet. It’s a signature pose they have recreated countless times during their romantic holidays.
