NINA HASTIE recently joined #Karektas on SABC 2, making it the third television show she’s currently on, and with that kind of work-load you’d think that she’d be fazed; instead, she is cheerfully taking it all in her stride. The talented entertainer feels that she gets to exercise her comedic talent to its full without compromising herself. “What I like the most about the jobs that I’m doing at the moment is that I get to be myself – whether it’s presenting, acting or radio. I’m here to entertain people through comedy and that’s what I’m doing,” says Nina. Her success, however, did not happen overnight – it took many years of dedication and hard work. Here she chats to us about starting out in comedy, #Karektas, her relationship with her family and much more.
