Laughing His Way To The Bank

You were an architect. What made you take up acting as a career? Since you belong to a family rooted in politics. Did getting into politics ever cross your mind?

I got an offer to act, so that’s how acting crossed my mind, and I landed here. I love politics, but if you enjoy something that doesn’t mean you actively have to be a part of it. My inclination towards it is to only understand what is happening in our country, I am politically aware and that excites me.

Being from a renowned family, was it easy for you to make it in films?

I wasn’t introduced on a political platform, I debuted in a film. So, I had to deal with all the challenges and I was very sure that I would not use my father’s name to get fame. So whatever I am today, is all because of my hard work.

You are always shown in films as a person who is full of life. Are you like that in real life as well?

It depends completely on my company. So, it’s not like I am always jumping around, it’s all about the people I am with. If my company is fun, I am into the fun mode and if the company is serious, so am I.
