George & Amal: It's Twins - Again!

Doubly blessed George and Amal Clooney couldn’t be happier about their miracle babies.

George Clooney has a reputation for being a gentleman. And his chivalrous ways were on full display on June 24 during a double date with his wife, Amal, and the former president and first lady, Barack and Michelle Obama, in Lake Como, Italy. As the two power couples boarded a private boat before dining along the shore, George extended his arm and gingerly helped Amal, who was dressed in a floralprint Gucci dress, off the waiting dock.

Now an insider tells Star there was more than just good manners behind George’s doting behavior. “Amal is pregnant!” reveals the source. Even more shocking: Two years after welcoming twins Ella and Alexander, they’re having twins again! “It’s a boy and a girl,” says the insider, adding that the actor, 58, and the human rights lawyer, 41, are “over the moon” about the news. “It’s a miracle they didn’t see coming.”

BIG SURPRISE

George and Amal weren’t actively trying for a baby. “WhenAmal started feeling queasy at the sight of runny eggs, a lightbulb went off over their heads,” says the insider. George broached the subject first, and Amal soon confirmed his suspicion. The source says she’s about three months along and already starting to sport a baby bump. The morning sickness she experienced for a few early weeks has thankfully dissipated. “She’s back in top form,” says the insider.
