Gunmen storm into Zithulele and Nokuzola’s wedding, sending the happy celebration into a depth of despair.

The venue is beautifully set for a garden wedding, the guests are dressed in their best attire, and the couple is ready to tie the knot that will lead them forever ever after. Even the weather indicates that it’s going to be a beautiful sunny first day of spring…

It’s the much anticipated day of Nokuzola (Vuyiseka Cawe) and Zithulele’s (Raphael Griffiths) wedding. They have been through a lot to get here, and it often seemed that they’d never get to the altar. Like when Zithulele recently found out that Nokuzola had an abortion and that she’d been sleeping with his half-brother Nkululeko (Nkanyiso Mchunu). Or when Zithu’s ex Boniswa (Lusanda Mbane) revealed their ongoing hook-ups. But they’ve proven that true love conquers all and they’re about to become Mr. and Mrs. Bhengu.

MEETING AT THE ALTAR

The festivities can be heard from afar, drinks are flowing, people are taking selfies and everyone’s in a celebratory mood as the couple kicks off their new life. Suddenly two gunmen gatecrash the event but they’re not demanding jewelry and cell phones. Instead, they want someone to come forward and reveal themselves, the person they’ve been hired to assassinate: businesswoman Nirupa (Jailoshini Naidoo).
