Lindiwe Dikana (Sindi Dlathu) is struggling to hold it together at her daughter Mbali’s (Zenokuhle Maseko) funeral. “Lindiwe’s world has caved in. Part of her died with Mbali,” says Sindi. While the family believes that Mbali lost control of her mom’s new sportscar at the end of January, they’re unaware that her car mechanic half-sister Itumeleng (Larona Moagi) is behind the death.
Tumi tampered with the pedals to get back at Lindiwe for trying to kill her hubby Lindani (Lunga Tshabalala) in January. When Mbali learnt of Lindiwe’s murder plot, she drove the car to go apologise to Tumi for their mom’s actions. “But she didn’t make it. Mbali died at the scene,” explains the actress. When the Dikanas discover that their daughter was killed, they kickstart a community-wide search tor the killer, unaware how close they really are.
