Love tragedy

A couple are willing to kill each other because they love each other that much.

It’s a twisted love that Zenzele (Nay Maps) and Buhle (Vuyokazi Tshona) share. They love each other deeply and would take a bullet for each other, but it seems they would weirdly also turn the gun on each other if needed. Zenzele is hell-bent on getting revenge while also showing his girlfriend, who’s from the family he believes had a hand in his dad’s assassination, how much he loves her. One can’t help thinking of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet – a love that blossoms amid two families’ feud.

THE PLOT TO KILL

“He wants them to put the past behind them and build a future together,” says Vuyokazi, explaining Buhle’s view of her relationship with Zenzele. Buhle eavesdrops on Zenzele’s conversation and learns about his deadly plans to wipe out her entire family, but even that isn’t enough to drive her away as it seems Buhle would rather stick with Zenzele than her family. Zenzele manages to convince Buhle to forget what she heard and she’s soon considering life with her lover – while Zenzele is plotting to kill her and her family.

A BULLET FOR HI VALENTINE

Zenzele puts plans in place to kill the love of his life, thinking that he has the upper hand. But boy, is he in for a surprise because Buhle reveals that she’s been one step ahead all the time. Armed with his gun, Buhle gives Zenzele the impression that she’s going to kill her mother to prove her allegience. “Buhle is actually planning to protect her from Zenzele,” Vuyokazi explains. And protect her she does. When Buhle and Zenzele head over to the Bhengu household, she points the gun at Zenzele. A gunfight ensues, and Zenzele is hit by a bullet meant for Buhle – Romeo takes a bullet for Juliet even after she betrays him.
