It’s been a few days since popstar musician-turned-sangoma Reneilwe (Amo Chofu) went on her first date with her international music producer beau Mark (Alonso Grandio) but she is already setting their wedding date. She only popped the question after she discovered that his visa is about to expire and “she wanted to help him avoid deportation. Renei is trying to give the romance a fair chance though,” says Amo. With Mark hesitant about walking down the aisle “for real”, Reneilwe tries to give him a push by announcing their engagement at a press conference without warning. “Everyone is stunned, including Mark. He didn’t expect Renei to jump the gun and tell the world that they’re getting married and he immediately gets cold feet,” explains Amo.
